It is the memorial day for the Holicaust and all people stand still for 2 minutes silence. I took it because it is a very windy overcast day and the flags were really dancing in the wind. I am pleased with the camera. Takein Raw and processed in pscs. I have the camera set to 100 iso and used neat image. I took it from my apartment so not the greatest shot because of all the poles but very happy with the flags despite the wind.

Those are nice photos. Congradulations.

Currently I am shooting wit a ixus 400 . I am plannig to buy a pro 1 do you advise me ? How do you like the camera.
Thanks and regards.

Hi Freddy ,

Great pic !!!

I would like to ask you if you purchased the Pro1 in Israel and if so where from (and what was its price) ?

I've asked few Cameras shops in the Tel Aviv area ( the best one too - Jugend) and they told me that the whole Canon Pro1 series was defective and returned to Canon .

Tnx in advance ,
Ilan

fredyr Yes I am happy with it except I think it is a bit stiff after having used the Rebel and the G3. The adaptor seems a cheap addon but I have attached it and am going to keep a polariser on it. By chance I had a spare 58mm canon cap ,so problem solved. The photos are gorgeous but haven't really had time to try it yet as my daughter brought it back for me from Australia and I just grabbed a shot from my balcony. I really like 28-200 zoom and an L lens. It is a very small camera so I am not sure for someone with big hands and the zoom takes some getting used to. I use the LCD with my G3 a lot so expect to do the same with this one.

Very small camera but quite hefty at 690. I have resigned myself to keeping it on ISO 100 during the day and using Neat Image afterwards. I use raw only so I have a lot of processing to do anyway. I only process for the web or print so leave most in raw anyway. Less space for saving. I have gotten used to Canon as it is my 4th and think they are very clever with their technology. In a hurry just leave it on P and superfine and one still has wonderfl photos. I think in sunny days I would also leave it on -1/3 as in the G3 and the pro 90iS and I have started to do that with the Rebel as Israel has a long hot summer.

Ilan contact me and I will tell you about buying online from America, still cheaper than buying in Israel even after paying the sending and 17%VAT
