I don't know aperture from my elbow, I am a complete newbie to SLR photography. Despite this, my first week with the d70 has yeilded some impressive results. Al shots are hand held, kit lens. Comments and suggestions welcome. I would like to thank EVERYONE in the DP Review forums for giving me tremendous insight into the world of digital SLR photography. I owe all of you a great deal as I have learned so much from all of you sharing and documenting your experiences. A special thanks to all of those first D70 posters (you know who you are) for helping me make the purchase of a lifetime.

Great photos, I look forward to your next posts!

This just goes to show people that it is the camera operator, not the camera.

Of course I think the D70 helped you with your photos!

I'm a newbie as well! For what it's worth, those are some nice shots! I really can't wait to buy this camera and start using it!

Hello,

Very nice pcitures!

I'm just wondering about the EXIF info and the post-processing, which curve did you use?

Happy shooting and hope to see more!
