If that's out of the question for any reason, an external burner
borrowed from a friend would be a good choice.
Frys electronics sells adapters that let you hook up a notebook
drive to a PC -- if the notebook hard drive is easily removable,
you could temporarily plug it into the PC and transfer the pictures
that way.
If you have a card reader, you could transfer the pictures to a
compact flash card on the notebook, and then read them into the
desktop.
Those are the options as I see them!
Could anybody recommend the easiest way to transfer pictures from
my laptop to pc. I have no rewritable cd burner. I would rather not
get a cd external burner since i have on my pc. we just came back
from trip and I have about 300 pictures on laptop shot jpeg fine.
If any body could suggest the easiest way to transfer, it would be
much appreciated.
