Hello Arturo,

wish you good luck in Qatar!

I am also very interested in airplanes(but flew only UL´s) and so hope for a lot of cockpit and airplane fotos :-))

Today I 'fly' sometimes with the best simulator available for the PC PS 1.3(www.aerowinx.com) and have much fun.

Adios and best regards from Bavaria

arturo, qatar is going to be quite an experience for a north american kind of guy. my son passed through there a couple times with the US navy. (he probably had a slightly different response from the locals than you will). :-)

i'm really interested in your reaction to the teleconverter. does it feel secure? unwieldy? just right? give us the poop, i'll bet a lot of us are considering making the purchase.

have fun on your new continent!

Wow tks guys for your replys, yeap im hoping is gonna be a good experience, this country in particular is a good one, instead of the other radicals arabian countrys, i have been there for my airline exams about 1 month ago and have a great time, i shoted some pics but was with a p72 from sony, later ill share with you some sunsets pics.

By the way yes im using the new firmware of the lenses, no problems at all.

Klaudio posted about his lenses and i agree with him in everything, the teleconverter is a heavy one and you have to be carefull when using it and holding it with you hands, you get a little tired but works fine. I dont have to much time to play with the camera and take some tests but when i arrive there ill have plenty of time to do it. For the guys out there that want to take a chat feel free to use the msn to stay in touch with me :)

tks for your kind words

Qatar, Alaska...so far away from my little country....must be great to use A1 in such a wild and beautiful area like Alaska !

Maybe one day

Actually it's very pleasant to see that people from distant countries share the same passion !

I really like it when a thread maintains a true international flavor. different perspectives really liven things up and enrich the experience. my partner is headed your way from egypt. she'll do 3 days in paris, 3 in amsterdam and 3 more in london before she heads home. it's going to be strange seeing her with a tan (she's been in egypt nearly a month) -- everyone here in Juneau is "fish-belly white." it's really quite disgusting. i'm not photographing any people until the sun comes out and we all get a little color!

Hola Arturo Yo tambien soy de Mexico, de Cuernavaca Morelos, yo tengo una Z1, saludos y espero que te la pases bien y puedas sacar muchas fotos en ese pais
