Is it possible?? I have an A1, with a 3600hsd and 5600hsd....I just recieved a Canon EOS 7e 35mm......is it at all possible to mount and use either of my two minolta flashes on the EOS (using some sort of adapter)? or am I just silly for even asking? hahaha I know the wireless will not work with the Canon. But if it is possible..... what functions do/ do not work??? I was wondering if I could use either flashes on my EOS until I can get a good Canon flash???? Thanks for any help (and don't laugh to hard at my post).

The 3600 & the 5600 are both Minolta dedicated flashes. Have you tried asking the folks at the Canon forum?

I've got a Minolta hot shoe adapter at home that will allow you to do this, but I can't give you details (I can check tonight if you like). The only thing I'm not sure of, is if you can get a PC Sync cable adapter for the Minolta cable. Have a look in Adorama and search on the flash unit and then look at the available accessories.

There are no limitations, only challenges - me (unless someone else said it first).
