I'm overseas now and was wondering if the LC1 is cheaper here in Asia. Anyway, what is the best legitimate price for a LC1 in the USA? It seems to me that the pricing is dropping faster here in Asia?

Thanks for a heads up on the USA pricing.

That store appears to be real and has limited bu good feedback in resellers ratings.com

http://www.resellerratings.com/seller2787.html

On the website, it is very hard to find things, but if you search for the model it will pop up. This is for a preorder.

I can imagine that it is quite genuine.

however, you have 14 days to return it.

If it is changed for another product, the charge is $8.95. Otherwise it is a 15% restocking fee if you have opened the package!

It is a good deal if you can be sure it is correct for you. Amazon will take it back no questions and no restock fee AFAIK. I would rather have that freedom to check it out.

This is an indication of what a price might become.

I'm leaning toward the D2 beause of the 3yr warrantee, but I'm thinking that if one buys with AMEX and gets one year extra warrantee from AMEX for free, this is $800 less than the D2!

Looks interesting.

However, they don't have it in stock yet!

I think in Singapore, I can get it for around $1050 US. And Singapore is not the cheapest. So, the USA, I'd expect price to VERY quickly drop to around $1k. If this thing had the capabilty for wide angle converter, it would be very attractive indeed.

Why not, LOL!

One can easily make the 69 to 72 adapter.

Just find something = or greater than 68 mm in an zoom or wide angle add-on!
