I'm just saying, in some cases* we assume we're talking to adults when we aren't. We should have a little more patience. We were all teenagers once.

Seriously though - how can you generalise people's behaviour when everyone is different. It's like saying I don't like Americans because I disagree with their president. Or - Australians love Fosters and barbecue seafood every other day.

No lie....I was thinking last night how I missed seeing Sarah's excellent portrait shots here. Did she ever settle on a school? I believe she will be a "Famous Photograher" someday if she keeps at it.

I have got some good and bad news.
The meeting I had planned has been called off. SO this Friday is out
of the question....sorry I was looking forward to the chat.
I'm still leaving for the States tomorrow morning and flying
directly to LA....going to hang around with some old pals of mine.
However, I will be in NY next Friday for sure...So same place and time
next Friday if you can make it. It will also be my birthday, so be gentle with me
and I will be gentle with you both (hahahha).
And that offfer is open to anybody else who happens to be in NY next week.
If you would like to see me and chat, shout at me or kick and punch me,
I don't know...its up to you.
Be there,... or be somewhere else.
P.S unless I can find a computer on my travels, you will all be sad to know
(I'm sure of that) today will be my last posting today for a while.
I hope its been as much fun for you as it has been for me. I really don't
mean to be rude.....it just comes out that way.

She has heard back from 2 of the 4 schools she applied. One has offered her a $110,000 scholarship over 4 years and the other a $56,000 scholarship over 4 years! Now this looks like big money and it is . . . but remember the schools are VERY expensive and these still leave $62,000 and $56,000 respectively for us to scrape up somewhere ;0 lol. But it is still nice to be wanted. Both schools said she was the top candidate and one calls her once or twice a week recruiting . . .
Not a bad start I would say. Who says photography doesn't pay???? and she has this forum to thank for helping her on her way.

Wow....that is a nice scholarship. And I though my son's college was a lot. Hmmm....only about $15,000 a year! He is gonna go to State Univ of Buffalo Ny next year. For what I don't kniow? Anyway sounds like I'm not the only person to see Sarah's "Potential"!!!!! Tell her for me....Good luck!!!!

not just tuition (housing for a shared dorm is more expensive for 9 months than our 2000 square foot home for a year!) aarrggh. It is CRAZY isn't it??? Well maybe you will be able to sell that original SarahD you own one of these days and pay off all of those student loans lol! Cindy
