Well, on my 950 it's more of a yellowish-green color. The important thing to note is that the flower icon changed from a pure white to this "other" shade (call it yellow, call it green...whatever)

Mine is green. My camera was bought in November with 1.2 firmware loaded from the factory.

This does bring up something that has been on my wish list for a long time, how about changing that color to something that we can see? Especially when you get outside in daylight, that yellow/green color is almost impossible to distinquish from white. How about blue? Or, better yet maybe, why doesn't the camera move to that position automatically when you select the macro? It would sure save a lot of trouble. Bryan

My tulip is yellow with a green border around it under a 2X magnification.
The point is that it's not White.

Doesn't everybody know that all Tech Writers are color blind? :-)

Just watch for it to change from white to SOME other color around mid zoom range. The results are a Micro (more than Macro) mode that is OUTSTANDING. Remember that when you get too close you are going to have problems with lighting, especially trying to use the internal flash.
