Enough is enough!!!

You folks sure know how to spoil you ;) BTW, did I mention the plates to you? ... LoL :)))

As for these little creatures, we did pet it and it behave just like a pet. I tried scratching under the chin of one ... guess what? it liked it :)))
Hehe these quokkas are funny looking Regit. Kangaroos and koalas
are among my favorite animals but these are new to me and they're
awesome. That's neat that they get so close to people. Ever try
petting one or is there a risk of biting or even kicking like
kangaroos :D? Good work Regit. By the way, I'm getting the tripod
and head for my birthday, woohoo!

it should be a piece cake.

For the last two shots, did you actually lie on the ground? It seems to me that they were shot at a very very low angle.
... there are some in the zoo, but the lighting there is quite
terrible. If I ever get a chance somewhere else, I'll grab one for
you :)

It is not I'm afraid. I live in the city and the chances of spotting a wild koala is almost zero :(

Hope this helps (wife took this) :)

Regit, your photos show how athletic you are. Thank your wife for the great photo. Does she also have a gallery for sharing?

Hi Regit,

I´m not sure if I get you ( or if you know what I was trying to say ).

English is a foreign language for me so I simply can´t express myself the way I can in my own language.

I use "wild" for an animal that doesn´t life in a zoo or park. It has nothing to do with if the animal is aggressive or dangerous.

I really like your images in this post - they are great but one image reminds me on my Canada trip where a Japanese tourist feeds a Columbian ground squirrel with candies.
I think that an animal ( cute or not ) should remain as "wild" as possible.

Before, I thought you are saying that "wild" (dangerous) animals should not be pets (pet owners are the victims) ...

Now, from my understanding, you are saying "wild" (naturally free) animals should not be pets (the animals are the victims) ...

Is that correct??? If that's the case, I totally agree with you and rest assured that we didn't feed them when we were there... In fact, I've never feed an animal, bird, etc. to take their pictures... not even seagulls :)

In the last shot, the "food" is from the natural vegetation; and it was the quokka that found it :)

And the last picture is really something: That little guy eating with that look like he's saying "good you left..."

Good job!

Yes, that is what I tried to say. I wish my english would be better because that would make life easier for me especially in such a forum.

Limitted knowledge of a language is a real handicap as sometimes we read in between the lines.

For the feeding:
I´m guilty: I fed some gulls in Scotland with fish and chips.

I read you find the last time; but as you know, every word has a different meaning in a different context... please don't feel handicapped :)

BTW, shame on you for feeding those gulls, LOL :)))
