This is my favorite because it is my only lighthouse picture. It is at Bolivar Point Texas (near Galveston).

Interesting trivia: The Confederates dismantled it and hid it during the War of Northern Agression so the Yankees couldn't use it.

Not really a lighthouse, used mostly as a touriist attraction and storage but a lighthouse non-the-less ...

Also, this one taken on Martha's Vinyard in Massachussets, USA. It is the lighthouse at Gay Head Cliffs and those are the cliffs ...

That's a very dramatic shot of a great looking lighthouse....I would love to see that one someday.

I took this last summer.....I think it was in the NewPort Bay area.....I modified it to fit my card theme.

Hi,

Two lighthouses from Portland near Weymouth Dorset UK.
The first is called Portland Bill.
The second is no longer used as a lighthouse.

My favorite is the Umpqua River Light in Winchester Bay, Ore. It has a two colored lens. Red and white.

My parent's mailbox (made by my father) that really does light up.. I don't know if the real one still works or not!

Hi Shudder,

Glad you like the image, (and full marks for tracking down the info on my web site too)!

Unfortunately there are not enough hours in the day for me to do everything I want to on the computer these days so haven't done much modelling for a while.

This image will be appearing on the cover of a "talking book" CD soon. (In Sweden)! Nice when you get paid for something you just created for fun.
