I am extremely interested in heavy retouching, such as making a fairy out of a female model or simply adding real-looking wings, grunge/gothic makeups, weird skin textures and glow to portraits.

Everything related to portrait heavy image post-processing is a great interest of mine.

I've been looking for two days for a good website or tutorial about those techniques, but with no luck. You are my last chance. Any suggestion?

Thank you for your suggestions. That's a very good start, since I wasn't able to find anything. Anyone else willing to help?
 
Ciao Mannequin,
I simply make use of Photoshop (or any other program).
I like to make a "heavy" (as you define it) use
of blendings, copying ad infinitum the levels and trying
to see what happens (a sort of free associations).
More rarely I get some FX with Poser, then use a
real picture as background etc..

Sometimes I'd really like to know better the
english language (despite of the 500+ threads
here)...
