RC-1

Is it true that RC-1 did not have 2 second delay on 300d?
I have the RC-1. I can take shots w/ Instant or 2 second delay. Heres a picture of my remote. I dropped it a couple times so its scratched up, but you can see the 2 option and the dot which is instant.

Please show us a pic of it attached to the strap. I'd like to see how it works. by the way do you find it big?

You may get some idea from picture below. I can take a better one this evening.

Sorry, I'm not home right now. The battery is two pieces, a holder that has 2 or in it. You take your strap off and thread the end through the two holes then hook it up to your camera as normal. The red button on the remote releases it and you can clip it back on fairly easy. I found that its great to have it on the strap because its really hard to lose it that way (and I'm really good at losing stuff).

The picture is a little blury because its from the flash bracket thread and I wasn't focusing on the battery. If you want another picture, I'd be glad to take it, but I'm not at home right now so I don't have my cameras with me.

Anyway, I hope that helps. For 30 bucks, it wasn't a wallet breaker and it really helps me out when I take pictures. I use it for night shots on my tripod to avoid vibrations from me pressing the shutter down and releasing and so far it has worked brilliantly.

The range is decent. :)
