Faces behind the camera (cont'd)..

Hey John,
I was just curious. I use both Macs and PCs, depending on where I'm
working. We Mac users tend to seek each other out since it is the
smaller "club". Had to ask. :-))
Hi Sol,

Barry Steinnecker is also a Mac user, but I use a PC.
Yeah, I know. Like I said we're a small club. We do tend to find each other. :-)
And like I said, I use both. I just prefer Macs. Later, Man.

"Hey Plamen, how are those in traffic?" - sorry, I was unable to grasp the idea.

E-eh English..., I need more practice. A friend of mine who lives in Hawaii, but originates from Alabama always tells me that she will teach me just in a few days how to speak like a real Hillbilly, LOLOLOLOLOL. Unfortunately both Hawaii and Alabama are still in several thousands miles away :-))

Hi Clifford,

Nice picture and especially the things behind you. I have a similar collection inherited from my late uncle. He teached me photography when I was just 7. He was a very, very good man... Shame on me that his collection lays in two suitcases...

There was some discussion about the size of the beer I was holding in the original thread, so I applied some USM and one or two other clarifying processes to more clearly show the true size:

To provide a better idea of our true physiques, here I am again with my wonderful wife, or should I say Santa, who gave me my A1 for XMas. She is actually slightly taller than I am, but I stole this backdrop from Jack D, so I am doing what I can with the available props:

Hi Plamen, Sorry you missed it. I was refering to the Aircraft in the background. :-)

What a great thread. Let me help by starting off this extended one.

This true face-behind-the-camera shot was taken by my wife while we were celebrating our 25th in Alaska. I'm demonatrating the oh-so-important bottom-lip-bite technique that, for some reason, makes most of the shots in focus. (I hate this shot. What are all those chins doing there?)

When I don't have the 7hi in my face, it looks more like this:

Blessings to all.

Barry, great thread.

It really is wonderful to put a face to a name. There have been quite a few people who have given me advice on my posted photos and I must say all advice has been much appreciated. Here are a couple of my photos.

Taken last year on my balcony in Surfers Paradise. Sorry guys I can't compete with the beer shots, but we do make some beautiful wines down here.

We are currently living in Papua New Guinea, this photos was taken last week in a local village.
Thanks again everyone for a great forum.

The female to male ratio is getting better. Okay, not by a lot, but better. :-)
Good to see you.

Very nice, Fritz. And a star is born!
Hard work down under on the Canning Stock Route: the beauty of tele
macro range (7hi). Even with sunglasses an acceptable shot!
(and my wife got ME with Dimage X!)

I couldn't help but notice that those chins you speak of in your first photo, also show up on your second shot... Although, I have not yet calibrated my monitor re: chin levels yet so the "problem" could be on this end! Regards, Jim

Sorry, can't help but sing that song made famous by The Four Tops. Thanks for sharing your beautiful pictures.
