sssssssssssssssssssssss!

Hi Andy I have a dead snake in jar, my cats caught it and decided
to bring it in to show me :) bless their furry little butts :)
Ohhhhhhh they didn't bother to find out that it was a poisonous
snake NOPE they just brought it in to show me.....how they didn't
get killed by it I don't know, and lucky for me it was dead when I
got home.....the thought of having a deadly snake inside the house
never crossed my mind.
My brother has a licence to keep Snakes, I don't mind seeing them
in an enclosure, but they are not exactly what I call a loving pet.
Great capture on your part :) hey and thanks for the link
on the Trip and head......I have them on my Wish List at B&H :)

I saw the original, over in your other thread. It was red and had an annoying leaf in the foreground. You manipulated this image :-O Where's the integrity? Where's the artistry? LOL

You did an excellent job saving this one. It's much nicer than the original.

Thanks for posting both of these threads. Great illustrations of what a true artist can do with a otherwise lackluster image :-)

(just call me lackluster ;-)

Thanks again, Andy,

Steve

AWESOME job, Andy!! ANd you were kind and did not even use your
flash on the slithery bugger. :-)
hehe my flash usually sits on a shelf - taken out for indoor bday parties and that' sabout it...
Considering all, you caught it at JUST the right moment, didn't you?
i think luck plays an important part of our images, don't you? of course, i believe a good photographer can make his own luck, too. like having the persistence to go back to the same scene or subject 10 times until the light is "just right." or, waiting patiently for many, many minutes until the snake finally decides to move ;)
Thank you for sharing your wonderful images with us, Andy. I for
one happen to really enjoy it The more I see, the more it pushes
me to achieve an even higher level of photography for myself in
subject matters I rarely delv into. Isnt' that what it's about....
growing, diversifying and being the best you can be?
yup - and you are welcome - that is what this is all about....

you made my day, mark!
Have a great day, Andy. I have to get out of here while the sun is
still low on the horizon and play :-)
cool - share the love when you get back!
