Its not art, but it is paying the bills (unlike my art)

I shot about 40 couples and groups at a school dance, all with the D-30 ISO 100 large jpg mode, and I am going to hae the packages printedat http://www.digiprintstore.com Unless someone else has a more cost effective way of getting them printed, if so let me know, it is still more expensive than film for these kind of shoots, but I still like it better.

Nice work !
What light did you use ?

many of the proffesional labs will print digital for the same price as film after a small usually $ 5.00 setup charge. I have had prints made they are on regular E surface paper printed with LED printers processed RA4 just like the traditional prints. the results have been a bit unpredictable but when they are good they are wonderful .I havent been brave enough to do a whole set of packages, but under controled conditions i think it could work well.

Well, I know I ca get LED prints for about 20% more than standard auto unit, but with silly little school packages with low profit margins like scool daces and sports teams, film can run as low as 1.90 a unit! Find me that from digital. I still see above $4 a unit, thats over $2 a unit which could add up to hundreds of dollars more than film. I am only really concerned with these low margine shoots where the client is only spending $20, Labs gennerally realize this and creat packages where they auto print whole rolls for cheap, not true for digital. Yet.
