D70, image converted from RAW

Hi
Do you have samples to post? Above images are clean, clean and clean :)

I guess when you take RAW images are cleaner than JPG. All those clean images i found so far are RAW..
Have got the D70 myself and your pics make me sick to work with my
105mm Micro Nikkor, which is currently at my parents place. Can't
pic it up before in 4 weeks :-(

Keep up posting fantastic D70 samples!

I have already linked to my samples on this forum, but can of course do it again if you missed it:

Been trying to find out how well the D70 performs when shooting in raw with only a 4 shot buffer but have had no luck so far. Once the buffer is full how long is it before one can shoot again when shooting in raw mode? Is it feasible to shoot raw all the time and not see too much of a time hit when waiting for the buffer to clear enough to shoot more? Know when shooting jpg it is very nice indeed but in raw haven't heard a thing yet.

Any response appreiciated

thanks

I would sharpen the image more. The original might have been OK, but once you size it down you have to sharpen again. You might know this and/or already did it--in which case it could use a little more, to my eyes.

Otherwise, it looks great. Nice job, thanks for posting it.

Thanks for the link again. Yes, I've seen this. These are some of the pictures convinced me that RAW reduces noise. I'm not sure. I'm new to digital (I never had a digital camera anyway :)

Am I right? What do you think? If that's possible for you to shoot a sky picture in RAW and in FINE jpg and post a 100% crop from both? Just curious.. Only if you don't mind... )

Is it possible to host the full-sized image for a little while? I would like to have a look at the details!

BTW, it is similar to the dragonfly I took with my Coolpix 4500. I think it's known as a Ruby Meadowhawk:

And you'll need this link to help identify all future dragonflies that you're gonna capture :-))

Really amazing quality. If you're running out of PBase space, please feel free to remove it as I've already downloaded the pic.

Thx again!
