Museum Room, 2 Perspectives

Hi Pierre,
I would clone the upper right corner on the color version and the b
& w version is a little bit flat. With more contrast the
perspective would look better. I prefer the color version.

Hope that it help ???
Thanks for the comment and suggestion. I will add some contrast to the b&w version.

Hi Morris,
Hi Stan,
If I did not know better, I would think the first photo was
computer generated. Fine photos.
Thanks. These were taken at the Brooklyn Museum. You should go there.

Hi,
I like the color one. But I think a little crop to make the doorway
off center would be better.
The symmetry was a part of the composition for me. I can go back and try additional compositions and may do that.

Hi Peter,
the first looks like something from a clockwork orange. id like to
see some people in the scene, but its beautiful just the way it is.

Thanks. Most people seem to prefer the color version. The museum was pretty empty that day so I decided not to wait for people to come into the frame.

Hi Stan

Wow your processing on these is very good Stan, the diagonals on the top image are pin sharp, not always easy to do on reduced images like this ... any secret tips you might want to share :-) ?

I think I prefer the first as the second made me dizzy on first looking :-) on looking more - I got over it and remained on my chair - I liked it more but I think the first is a striking wide angle persepctive sort of image.

All the best to you.

No worries on carrying on that composition thread ... it did not seem to be developing into anything very deep so unless it does I wont touch it again.

Nice to read your thoughts .. I also practice trying to find a photographic angle or point of view sometimes on anything if a subject is not to hand :-) I think it makes my brain think more the right way when I want it to :-)

Early days though.
