(OT) the most USELESS thing ever

Then there's no need to comment on him doing so, right?

After all Evil Eggplant brought politics into this one hour and one minute before Luther did.

Is one group more useless than the other? :)
luther, we're having fun here. there's no need to drag politics
into this discussion.

sheesh.

The perforations in toilet paper. What are they for? Stupid little squares. Maybe they're for rationing?

If you're like me you grab the paper, give it a tug and grab a handful as it flies off the roll.

I shouldn't make fun of those with special challenges, but the notion of a obscessive-compulsive counting off the exact number of squares needed to get the job done is really funny.

Do you think Rain Man could look at a roll of TP and tell you exactly how many squares the roll contained?

people have been known to trade on that.
Some of us come from small towns where your neighbor that's driving
behind you knows where you're going anyway...
Victoria's (Australia) western district is a notably wealthy grazing region, where a goodly number of the farmers' wives would commonly be perceived as properly belonging to the Blue Rinse set.

Sometime in the eighties, one of them came swanning out of her long driveway without the slightest glance, straight out on to the main dirt road, and straight under the bows of an approaching car which ended up whacking hers quite firmly in its nether regions. The car that hit her, FWIW, was being driven by a visitor to the area, not known to the locals.

She was more perplexed than mortified that this should have happened, protesting "Everyone around here knows that I leave for church at exactly 9:30 each Sunday."

True. I kid you not.

And yes, she was driving a Volvo. Also true.

Have you ever read one?

Maybe I am thinking about this wrong,
Perhaps it is not reading manuals that is the problem.

Is there anything more useless than the button you are supposed to
push to make the light change so you can cross the street?

(Please don't say the spoiler on a Corolla GT, I already thought of
that :-)

and I'll raise you a quote from the Australian Road Rules - Victoria (1999) now in force:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
45. What is changing direction

(1) A driver changes direction if the driver changes direction to the left or the driver changes direction to the right.

Sony's own embarrassing Aibo® curiosity.

A pet rock would have to have more personality and educational value than either of these!

Like on a tin of tuna I purchased recently. The serving suggestion showed the tuna, on a plate!

or

Yes,

How about a great price on a camera that doesn't ship. Or a company like Digital liquidators?
