It was definately forced and after reading these comments, I
clearly understand what everybody is talking about.
I like the idea I had, but I see where I failed in composing the
look - in fact I didn't take any time in composing the image. I
just chunked the vase/flowers up on the wall instead of taking time
to 'naturally' integrate the roses into the scene.
but you know what? that's fine. i play around
constantly .
think that's why photography has grabbed me so. there's so far to
go and so much to learn, i.e. it won't bore me quickly.
tell me if i'm on track with this, had a thought about the concept
you were going for:
sorta like pics i imagine we've all seen at one time or another, of
a robin redbreast, sitting on a bare branch, snowy background. a
harbinger of life/rebirth in the midst of winter?
