I'm not an expert, but fair market value for Shay's PS Action is more around $15 given what it does, and what other Actions go for.
Supply and demand is what it's all about. Shay saw the demand and produced a quality product. The supply will cost you $10. It's a bargain.

Besides, if you have a grand to drop on a camera what's a few bucks for software? Quit groaning and give the guy the money. Ten bucks is still a bargain.

I sent a payment via Paypal for the action when it was still 6 dollars..a week went by and still no action via email ...so i check paypal today and find out my money was refunded but now paypal has a hold on my account. All this without even an email as to why my money was refunded. What gives Shay?

Of course he does, but that can't stop us. I bought a copy at $10, and I've been selling pirate CDs like hot cakes. At this point I'm getting ready to move into a mansion in Queen Anne with my illegitimate profits.
How did I do it, and how can I help you? Well, I decided Shay's pricing structure ( $10 flat ) is a wee bit unfair. So I've been selling his work for 10% of the cost of the equipment you're going to use it on / with. That's a pretty fair price for the action - let me tell you it's fantastic - and a better model for pirate software licenses. Send me an email and I'll sell you a copy at a fair price. Here's an estimate:
Sony 828 - $1,200
Photoshop - $600
Computer - $900
Sub Total: $2,700
Less 90% $270
So there you have it. Shoot me an email and I'll send you Shay's action for somewhere in the $275 ball park. You know how much better it'll be, because you spent so much more on it.
Plus I won't give you free upgrades. But I'd be more than happy to sell you new pirate copies when Shay makes them available.

Just send me some skin flecks of Andy and Shay in an envelope, and I will take care of all...however, the fee for this work has gone up from 6 to 10 dollars now!!!

I just purchased the version for Paint Shop Pro. I can't believe how well it works!!!
The only negative I could find about my 828 is the PF. It was occuring only on high contrast photos--about 1 out of every 20 that I shoot. Now by clicking a button, it is completely gone. To me, this camera is now all I need for my photography needs.
Thanks for putting this together. This is a great example of capitalism at its finest!
