Here's mine...best to date...but then again I've only had the camera f few days! All of these were taken with the FZ10, hand held but generally leaning up against something to get some stability, I'm not sure of the settings as I am real new to this.

Suggestion...delete the previous photos before you share yours... faster loading for those on dialup.

I don't know which are my sharpest shots, but these came out pretty nice and I like them.

Interesting you should bring this up as I was in a quandry about whether to cancel my FZ10 as I wasn't sure about some of the pictures I'd seen.. However, I think I like really sharp images. Anyway, I made myself a PS macro to do 'several things' to a photo from the FZ10 which (IMHO) makes them more dramatic and certainly sharper.

After seeing the results, I've kept my order going :)

Does anyone run their camera in high contrast, saturation and sharpness and with exposure down a few notches? I'd be interested to see some pics with these settings..

FZ10 rules!! Just wish someone would send me one in exchange for a chunk of cash!!!! Sometimes I hate living in the UK.. it's like Santa goes everywhere else first!

Hey,

But you get to drive down the left of the road. :) Seriously though, tts weird how Panasonic doesn't seem to care much about marketing such a good product especially when Canon seems to be doing much much more with only comparable products. They come out with a 3MP, 10x IS camera nearly 6 months after Panasonic's excellent 4MP, 12x IS camera.

But Canon does a better job in marketing and more people know the names of several Canon's and Sony's digicams (at least most of my friends do), but most've never heard about FZ1\2\10. And Canon supplies products to so many markets, while Panasonic is so hesitant to send supplies to wider markets.

Anyway folks, please keep posting your sharpest images. I have been very keen on seeing how sharp the FZ10 can be! Thanks to all who've posted already, but if you get or find sharper images, please update us.

I usually keep my camera on high saturation, standard contrast and sharpness. But I have changed it according to the situation. It works great with sunsets though! As far as exposure..that just depends on the situation as well. In my shots from Canada I had it bumped up by 1/3 most of the time, down here I keep it either 0 or down 1/3.

It looks like some the images I see are sharp but could possibly be improved quite a bit from a better downsampling Algorithm. If your using Photoshop and using Bi-cubic or Nearest neighbor to downsample your images then I recommend a MUCH cleaner and sharper alternative.

Try this software: http://www.fookes.com/ezthumbs/ and use Lancos3 for the Algorithm. If you haven't used Lancos3 I guarantee you that you will be pleasantly pleased at how much cleaner and sharper your images are after they are downsampled. You can also batch process which is nice. It's one of the best tips I have picked up on the DSLR forums. I'm always shocked at how much detail comes out when my images are downsampled using this software. Don't worry the software is free.

You must remember that sharpness is in the eye of the photographer and what they are trying to convey by that image. However, here are three from the FZ10 that are sharp in my eye. All handheld.

I'll check it out...I use PSP 8 and I have the choice of "smart size, bicubic, bilinear, pixel resize, and weighted average"..are any of those good? I don't know much about that side of the software.

Here's a couple I posted a while back. Does it count if I ran them through NeatImage ?? They had a little noise before I processed them, but not much.
