B/W and refections

Liked your photos, especially the black ice.

Went for a hike to local park where there is a waterfall. IT was
basically frozen solid. Still got a few pics. A b/w and 2 looking
at reflections. Hope you like.

Especially liked the black and white. What post processing, if
any, did you do?

I use a Wacom tablet and my wife for Christmas got me Nik Photo design set. This has a b/w conversion that can be dialed in for specific color spectrum's. I usually find the spectrum that gives the best contrast or look. The set also has a contrast filter that i apply after to get tonal range. The ability to use a pen with the pad and just add the effects to whatever part of the pic I wish is great! I than use levels with a black point set at 4 and white point set at 245. Depending on how much artifacts or noise was introduced to the pic,I may run it thru Neat Image to smooth it out. This work flow for me ends up giving me excellent prints. Printing is usually the most difficult part to achieve what I see on screen to final output. Here's another pic:
