What are your thoughts on the A2 for macro shots?
What would be the best "digital" way to go for good macro shots?
Thanks

You can use the 200mm zoom, and with the macro switch, focus down
to 25cm, which lets you fill the frame with a business card.
If you add a 10x close up lens (I use a Hoya, which is 2 elements,
coated) you can fill the fram with a dime.
There are lots of samples in my galleries at http://www.pbase.com/bertramm
Here is one - hand held, so the focus may not be perfect:

Jien:Hi,
I am interested with a 10x Hoya macro filter. Can you please advise
what is the DOF with the 10X macro and how close is the focusing
distance on your A1 to the object?
Thanks in advance.

You have maybe 2mm depth wide open, 6mm stopped down. Working
distance (lens to subject) is about 75mm with a +10 lens at the
200mm settting with the camera focus set at .25m.
