A few more of these and you'll be the next one for a composite.

Your Dad said you really would like a pair of pants like our Son was wearing - Hmmmmm! that will be tough. - yeah I'll bet.

For your kind words about his picture!!!

I think he has a pretty good eye ~ both for finding a shot, and seeing a shot!!

Thanks again Graylady!!

This shot was taken by my son, Luke! He's not okd enough yet for his own user name here, so I share some of his shots from time to time.

It does get confusing with the "posted by" Davezz (sorry!), but I do think it's fun to share his growth as a budding young photographer!!

Luke thanks you very much stewart!!

Don't tempt him please!!! I don't think I could let him in the house wearing those pants!! LOL

Luke thanks you twice ~ for your kind comments on this picture, and once again for the great composite you created of his, and a few of his dad's, shots!! :)

Why can't Luke get his own login ? Even if he isn't old enough to use it himself, you could use it when you post Luke's pics... Just a thought...

Or perhaps you want to use the same login so we don't know which one of you that took the great pics ? ;)

Cecilia

PS: Luke, that's one great pic! I wish I could take pics even half as good as yours...

Show dad how to do this, maybe he'll pick up a trick or two...LOL:

Seriously, Dave. This is an excellent picture. But of course you now this already ;-)
And like Jim said ~ a pot-something for sure. Just submit it!!!

Luke & Dave,

I think that this one is gonna be hard to improve on and should be considered as a contender for submission.

I personally am just plain tickled to see such a fine image from the young gentelman, and what this says about those involved.

It just makes my day to see this happening and restores some faith in me regarding family values.

Best Regards to Luke and you to Dave,

But I don't want his head to swell any bigger!!!

When he asks me if anyone's posted to his picture, I just smile sadly and tell him "No, nobody's looked at it" :) :)

He's getting pretty good!!

Thanks from Luke, Trond ~ you've made his day!!

And welcome back to the forum!!!

Yes, he keeps me on my tiptoes!!! I wish I could take all the credit, but he's got a good eye, and has quickly learned how to use his camera!! I think I was like that when I was young too!!! Yeah, right!! :)

The contest ends this Friday ~ I have been working most of today trying to master resizing for print!!! For better or worse, I at least have a workflow!!

I thought you might like the title!! :)

Luke says "Thanks!!" Donna!!!!

It would be better if dad got the DSLR first ~ that way I could figure it all out and share my knowledge with him!!! :)

Besides, I think he's doing pretty well with that C750!!!!

Good song and dance huh??? :)

Thanks from Luke Mr Rat ~ he appreciates your comments!!

He's got some shots of a Banded Watersnake, and a Moccasin!! It was when he first got his camera, so I'll have to go back and check them out!!

Luke thanks you for looking Brian!!

When he was younger, I coached his soccer and little league teams. A coach I'm not, but it was a way to stay involved, and looking back, I'm glad I did!!

With photography, it's entirely different ~ he wanted the camera, and saved his money to pay for part of it!! He wanted to go to the river with dad to "shoot" the critters! When we go on shoots, we have a neat little competition to see who can spot the unusual first, who gets the better shot, etc! It's all in good fun, and we share many laughs!!

But I think the biggest difference is, unlike a sport that you outgrow, we may share these good times until he is pushing me in a wheelchair on a pier, trying to get me in position for a shot!!!

At least, that's my hope!! :)

I appreciate your kind words John, and thank you for taking the time to post them!!

For some unknown reason, he thinks he can beat dad ~ Kids!!!! :)

It's a lot of fun sharing something with him that we both enjoy!! Like the ad says ~ "priceless"!!!

Good to "see" you again Sue!! And thanks for your kind comments!!

I thought about doing that Cecilia, but didn't want to risk either one of us being banned!! Even though I would be using it, it would still be in his name, and he's not 18.

When I post his shots, I always include the "by Cool Hand Luke" so people will know it's his ~ it's too bad, cause that would make a great username!!

Thanks for the idea and the kind comments to Luke ~ I will show him this post in the morning!!
