electronic music concert (img)

I like #1, but I think I'd prefer a tighter shot of the performer's face. His concentration is so intense and that bead of sweat is great. The out of focus performer almost looks like he's got some digital banding... but I'm guessing that's more an artifact of some digital noise reduction software? If you are removing noise from these shots, please don't!! These kind of shots are only enhanced by noise.
  1. 2 stood out immediately. I'd play with mixing the middle tones down to get more isolation on the performer. The shot is dramatic and striking, but it would be more striking if he were less well-lit. Specifically his extended arm. If that could melt more into the shadows, I think you'd have a stronger pic.
Nice work. Seems like it must've been a cool event.

Thanks for your comments and suggestions!!!
I did use Neat image to reduce the noise...
After compare the photo processed and non processed, I agree
with you....the non processed does have a better film grainy look!!!
the 2nd one , the performer stood very close to the big projector...too
strong contrast.

it was a concert at the a POP culture Acadamy in leeuwarden, Holland.

I doubt it, but I can't tell people apart.
