looks like a custom Epson back replacing the Leica film door!....
It is not fake. It is on the display at the PMA. The speck is not provided yet. It will be made clear in mid March.I would imagine that a Leicas forum would already have gone wild!
Also, maybe Phil might check it out?
Can anyone read Japanese?

The LCD is free angle. It is guessed that APS-C size CCD, perhaps 6
M pixel, is used.
Another report (also in Japanese..):

I'm impressed by the inovations shown on the web page. This is undoubtedly the first digital camera I've seen with a film advance lever.

Well, bwash, for non motor-drive cameras, they are used for cocking the shutter, ya know.I'm impressed by the inovations shown on the web page. This is

Too funny... Leica sells convertible bonds and mortgages the company on a digital M back and these guys have it already! Talk about a day late and a dollar short...

Some people say I have multiple personalities, but WE don't belive
them!
Is this a prototype of that?
Or is this a digital back?

Full size sounds mechanically impossible. The film rails will get in the way. If it's a digital back, as it appears from the picture anyway. Of course, if it's a purpose-built Leica, that's different. They said that full size 35mm sensor and 6.3 megapixels. Use any M
lenses.
