My copy of Ron's ebook was in the mailbox when I got home. When I got home I ripped open the envelope and threw the CD into the drive.

Folks, you will not be disappointed.

Unless you don't buy one, that is. If you don't buy one, you need to know that 90% of this stuff isn't written down anywhere else! You'll never know what you missed. And that would be a bad thing! But I'll never have to feel sorry for you that you never bought the book because I know you'll have the good sense to get it.

There. I feel better now.

And for those who thought the book wouldn't be big enough for them . . . well, 104 pages is going to be keeping me very busy for a long while. This material is well-written and to the point. It's dense. No fluff. It doesn't waste your time. It's sort of like The Economist in that way.

So get busy and order Ron's ebook now!

Geez, calm down a little. I don't think there's any question or concern for god's sake. Stop over-selling it.

So glad that your SO happy that YOU recieved it today. WHOO-HOO. I got stuck in traffic today..Big deal! We all hope you enjoy the read. Does this mean that everytime someone recieves their book, we are gonna start a new thread? I hope not.

:-)

Michael,

I absolutely share your enthusiasm. I just loaded my copy of Ron's eBook on the computer and it is a wealth of the exact information that I am looking for. Ignore the nay-sayers, and those who feel that $80.00 plus is too much to spend for a mere "book". I've spent a lot of time and money on this hobby, but I doubt I'll spend money more wisely than on this book.

I have the good fortune of contemplating what reading material to take along on my upcomming 20+ hour round-trip flight to Paris for my 12th aniversary, and my hard copy of Ron's book will fill the bill nicely.

Best Regards,

Pat Beug

Glad you're happy Mike. I noticed that Ron "thanks" you for your assistence with the book. Figured you would have had it already.

Yes, the book is very good. Written as though he were assisting me with my own workflow.

. . . and thanks for the help you've been giving me!

That's a good point you make about Ron's book. But his inclusion of my name in the acknowledgment is totally out of proportion to any puny contribution I made. And I really didn't get it until yesterday because I didn't order and pay for it until last Friday.

Regards,

Mike

Hey Mike,

Are you the same Mike Worley who is planning to join Ron and a couple of other guys at Yosemite in May? Well, I'm one of the other guys. I'm looking foreward to meeting you and learning from you, Joe and Ron. Can't wait.

Best regards,

Pat

Yes, Pat, that's me. I'm looking forward to it, too. Haven't been there in a long, long time. Eons ago there was a small B&W picture of me at about age 6 holding a Brownie Hawkeye and taking a picture of something or other there in Yosemite. It's been that long.

Hey, for entertainment there we can sit around the campfire and practice pronouncing "Puyallup." I have a recollection of how to say it after a year of high school up in Mount Vernon, but that was 1966 and I could probably use a refresher.

Mike

Hey Mike,

I'm a Yosemite virgin - this will be my first time. Ditto for doing a workshop with Ron Reznick. One thing I can do though that you can't, and that's pronounce "Puyallup" I'll go this far and help you with the first syllable. Just pinch your nostrils, imagine a disagreeable odor, and say the first thing that comes to mind. There, you've got the first three letters. The rest is just how it's spelled.

Seriously, Puyallup is a great little town, wonderful people, and near some fabulous places for nature photography. We're 2 hours from Mt Vernon, where I was a 10 days ago photographing snow geese and trumpeter swans, and again last Saturday photographing bald eagles[actually another hour up the North Cascades highway along the Skaget River and tributaries]. Beautiful. If you get back up this way, let me know and we "ll load up the gear and go explore.

Have a great day,
Pat

You're very welcome. I happy if you found them helpful.

I'm sure you're underestimating the worth of your contribution. No need to be modest :)
And I really didn't get it until
yesterday because I didn't order and pay for it until last Friday.
Welp, better late then never, eh?
