Hiding... [pic]

I think the leaves add dramatic interest to an already good shot. Without them, it would still be good but not as interesting. It might have been neat if they had covered up a little less of the face, but it's a great shot any way you slice it.

Chillihead, I like the use of the Yucca to bring some flair to your portrait. I don't find it distracting in the least and quite frankly it gives me the impression that your little girl may be a bit shy. The Yucca plant on the other hand looks a little sick...looks like it's getting eaten by bugs or something. Time for a little green thumbing......lol.

It's funny, she is one of the least shy girls in the world, but has her moments.

I agree, this portrait does convey shyness doesn't it? One of my work colleagues thought she looked sad, but I think shy is a more apt description.

Oh, I'll get to work on that plant too!
