PART 2 - What do you do for a living?

I'm enjoying the thread and responses. It's interesting to see
peoples backgrounds and where they might be "coming" from with
perspective.

Stay away from the airlines.

The responsibility, skill and years of training and experience that go into being able to qualify for those jobs and then have to deal with a 30 - 50% pay cuts while management walks away with millions in their pockets, loose your house, car, ect.... just so the general public can fly across the country for $39.00...... isn't worth it.

That's what today's airline pilot is dealing with.

The public thinks all airline pilots make great money. Ha. I've been offered three jobs flying regional jets since my AAA furlough and the three salaries for flying those jets full of people was 28K a year, 22K a year, and 18K a year. And yes that's US Dollars.

Picked up the Rebel because I'M A TOTAL GEEK AND LOVE MY TOYS!!! :)

..been wanting a 'real' camera since my old Nikon rangefinder hand-me-down from my Dad was stolen back in '89... Man I love the DRebel, it's exactly what I've been waiting for all these years!
