Nikon service rules again!

..uh-huh, never! not in a million years, not when I can drive over and drop my camera at your place and have you take it over to them :D. GOTCHA!!

This is truly turning out to be an amazing relationship between you and Nikon Canada. I can recall quite a few incidents where you have mentioned the quality of Nikon Canada's service. I hope it stays that way.

Cheers,

David

Hey Sandra.

You guys are lucky becouse down here in sweet Brasil we can´t even access nikon web site for a simple upgrade on a nikon view or any other products, they left the entire continent out even though we pay the same dollors for the equipment.
Contacted them and got no answer.

Oh well life goes on
I put my baby (CP5700) in for some fine tuning on the focus and to
have a blue pixel taken care of. While they had it on the bench,
they ran some tests, didn't like the readings they were getting off
the CCD so they REPLACED it!!! It wasn't giving me any problems
but hey, who am I to argue with the experts!!! Now THAT'S service.
Not only did they fix what I asked, but they also tested the rest
of the camera to make sure it was working just fine. NikonCanada -
thank you for taking care of me and my baby!! And now on to that
west coast wedding!! Cheers, Sandi

.. on Toronto's supposed hockey team! I once turned down a date offer from the great Gretsky (hey, I was young then, wouldn't say no now! LOL ) Toronto has warmed up just long enough for me to get on a plane to California,, then I don't give a rodent's behind HOW cold it gets. THanks Mark for your Official Canadian Statistics.... whenever you need NikonCanada service, you're gonna be pleasantly surprised!!!
Cheers, Sandi
don't know COLD like a Canadian knows cold!! LOL
According to The Official Canadian Temperature Conversion Chart,
Canadians only start saying "cold, eh" at -273C (-460F) or absolute
zero, where all atomic motion stops. This is a result of our
frustration encountered at -114C (-173F) with our attempts to thaw
beer kegs.

The next most significant temperature reached will be -295C (-500F)
when the fiery place below freezes. This is coincidental with the
Toronto Maple Leafs winning the Stanley Cup. Given their current
record, this could be a slightly colder winter than normal.....

On topic, I agree that Nikon Canada service is good. Have'nt used
it for digital, but my Nikon film camera has been in twice for
broken doors. Both times, fixed fast and well.

I know I'd feel abandoned if I didnt have NikonCanada close by to back me up in case something went wrong with my cameras. They've been so good to me, Ty at the front desk is incredibly knowledgeable AND so polite, great sense of humour too! When I took it in for focus problems, he said "you know you had the auto focus turned off?" but I told him that yes, I was doing some manual focusing tests before I brought it in but that WAS NOT the reason for the focusing issues!! LOL He's a really good guy, and knows his stuff! Too bad you don't have a Ty in Brazil.
Cheers, Sandi
