I am looking to get my printer profiled soon. I know that I have to buy separate profiles for each different paper/print driver setting. This includes changing from 1440 to 2880 dpi.
My question is: What dpi setting do you guys use for your prints? For testing, for proofs, for the final prints? Why do you use those settings?
If you have purchased separate printer profiles which dpi settings did you get profiled and why?
Do you notice enough of a difference between 1440 and 2880 to get 2880 only profiled or get both profiled?
Thanks,
Ray Milewski
