I have a photographic memory, but I always seem to have the lens cap on.

well they would have to use a much smaller CCD haha ouch the pain of that would hurt

but then maybe photos for them don't matter if they are noise free long as the capture what they need
well I doubt the gov is looking here for spy cams haha
All they would get is just CA, noise and so on… nothing for spys.

If so, I'd like Sony to know that as someone who had been awaiting the F828 with great anticipation, their lame treatment of RAW (in every aspect, but particularly the insufficient buffering) is likely to be the one thing that keeps me from buying one. My next camera will have RAW and it won't make me wait while it writes the files and I'll be able to convert them in Photoshop CS.

where I can get the cheat codes for the 828 that will permit shutter speeds faster than 1/30, and fstops higher than 2.2, in Nightshot? I want to take big, beautiful, 8MP, daylight, infrared landscape photographs, hand-held, with lots and lots of DOF, sorry to be so rude and impatient.

Referencing your comments and stats data below...

Most all sites are regulary scanned by search bots from major search engines, but the below list looks particularly suspicious, especially if they're all within a day or so. What the heck you got on your website besides the word 'sony'?

Sony web search bots (or a company hired by them) could also regularly copy text from any site (listed at Google, for instance) that has the Sony name contained within, just to protect their copyrights and patents.

I wouldn't be too worried unless you have some top-secret sensitive spy data at your site.

Hi David, I've 'remapped' images stacking instructions to PSP7 environment for you. Check out Jasc forum if you're still interested in it.

Wonderful!

Now... if only their forum was up. :•( (its down again at the moment). That thing is down so often I hardly try anymore. I will attempt to conjure it up sometime tonight once more.

Early thanks for your effort.

Wasn't it down for three straight days from Dec. 30?

:-(

And that's after clearing out both caches, closing down and re-launching. This has been going on for several days (for me) now. I was able to get there earlier today, but didn't open up any threads - but I was able to get to the photo forum. Now, nothing again. If this keeps up, I'll try logging in through a different access phone number. Sometimes that helps.

They're probably using steganography to hide secret messages in their sample photos. :-p

Got it. It took about 20 tries. Perhaps their server is overwhelmed with requests today?

Anyway, I copied your instructions off your post. Again, thank you for doing all that work just for me. I can't try now until I'm offline. This old 'puter can't do that many layers with 128MB RAM without closing everything first.
