Hi all,

Having recently bought my D30 and 550EX I wanted to test out a reasonably fast shutter indoor evening shot in full manual mode with flash. This is in preperation for a major shoot next week (Sheffield Arena 6th Jan).

Sorry, but I couldn't think of any other way to do it. Nobody else about so I guess the self-timer came in handy! Facial Expression is unintentional.
Settings = 125/5.6, ASA400

Anybody else dare try the same? Be nice to see some other attempts!!!

PS. Took me about 10 tries to get the timing of my jump to coincide with the shutter.

I must be nuts!

Ian.

Hehehehhemuhahahahah

Sorry, I don't mean to laugh. This picture is great!! The expression is timeless! The timing seems very difficult.

If I could have picked any other photo to view as one of my last of the old years passing I couldn't have picked one better than this! The facial expression, though unintentional, is priceless! By the way, the flash-shutter synch works fine!
Happy New Year!
