It's been said that the eyes are windows to the soul. I invite you to share animal photos that feature a glimpse into the souls of the creatures we humans share this earth with.

That second picture is making me both shiver and amaze at the same time. I don't like slimy things, but the lovely colors and the quality of the photo makes me love it.

Wow! Those eyes are tiny but you know this guy's got you scoped
out, no doubt about it!
Yep. He was on a wooden fence and I got the camera up
close, and after a slight pause he'd turn away scamper about
10-12 inches while I followed him, and then he'd whirl around and face the
camera again. Clearly quite aggitated but wanting to face
the danger straight on. He did that about 3 times before
I got the shot. I wonder if he was seeing his own reflection
in the lense and that was the real threat.
