were you expecting a kitten, maybe?

I want to send out a special thank you to all of the members of the forum who have given me help, advice, and support throughout the year. You have helped turn a whim into a hobby, and a hobby into a passion. Your kindness, friendship and humor have meant more to me than you will ever know.

May your holidays and all of your days be blessed with love.

It's apparent that your talents aren't limited to your sculpting and photography. How long did it take?

Happy Holidays!

That is great! I was laughing so hard that my cockatiel had to come out of cage to find out what was going on. I have an idea for hummingbird pictures for next year, and you gave the idea to me. I was thinking of a collage with hummingbirds ornaments in a Chritsmas tree. Thanks for sharing the wonderful work with us.

It didn't take long at all. Only about ten minutes. Airbrushing the hat and bag were really easy, but it took me a minute to figure out a way to do the snow. I came up with a strange method. I opened a new page and added noise, then I used the magic wand to select the background, then I inverted the selection, turned the brightness all of the way up and copied and pasted it over the original image, stretching it a little to enlarge the flakes. I'm sure that's a really backwards way to do things, but it did the trick.
Glad you enjoyed the image :)
