Problems with 75-300 IS

"reboots" when half-pressing the shutter release. The same lens
operates problemfree on my EOS 5.
Canon support guessed that's an adjustment problem of that
individual camera body and asked me to send in body and lens.

works ok otherwise, IS does need some more juice
