What is your favorite picture ever taken ...

Heres one of my favorites from this year. It is from my recent trip to Ireland. Although it is probably a nearly lost trade or art in Ireland, you can still run across some of these thatch roof houses and barns in a few areas.

Yves, that is a great shot.

Not a GREAT photo by a LONG SHOT, but I snapped this when I was 12 years old. I remember the awe that I felt on this trip, because it was my first time out of the South....basically my first time out of South Carolina in general, and I remember the pure AWE that the Twin towers struck me with. Then, the severe irony that many years later, one of my friends would die on the second plane to strike the towers......I can never look at the sky line of New York the same way ever again, and I know that I am not alone in that emotion......SO, I guess this is my favorite....an awestruck snapshot through the eyes of a bewildered 12 year old who is seeing the world for the first time.....
