Phil has an excellent side-by-side comparison tool for you to compare the two models yourself.

In a nutshell, the C3000 has a smaller internal buffer, and comes with a smaller SmartMedia card. The body is also champagne instead of black. Obviously it is a little less expensive

There are SEVERAL reviews of the C3000 if you just look around the web. Check out MegaPixel.net, and Imaging Resource to name a couple.

The C-3030Z comes with a free copy of Photoshop LE and the C-3000Z does not.( at least not in the USA )

Opps! One more. The C3030 has a metal body, whereas the C3000 is half and half. Not a big issue, except that metal will mean more heat dissipation, and less thermal noise build up in certain instances (long exposures, and LCD use); meaning less noisy pictures IMO...Barry
