What are we all doing?

Last year I took an early retirement package from Kimberly Clark
where I worked for 36 years the last 11 as a shift supervisor. I
thought at 55 I would still be young enough to get a part time job
but here it is a year later I haven't even looked for a PT job, I
love not working.

--I gld to meet you Mike. You are also one that has contributed
useful information to me and others on this forum. Thank you! I
still have about 8 years to retirement. I have one in college right
now and another ready to start in another year. I will have to work
to help put them through. Good posting your useful thoughts!

I'd love to know how you managed to retire at 40! Please tell me
the secret!
I owned a few business's. If I added up all the hours I put in, during those years, I probably worked a lifetime, well not quite. Jim

--I was just wondering what occupations we, the forum members, have
that allows us to communicate and surf this forum during the
working hours of the mornings and afternoons. I am just curious.
Some of you, including me, seem to be on here quite frequently. I
think it would be interesting to know what kind of occupations some
of our forum members have. Maybe this will help to indentify others
in this forum who have similar interests. I am a high school
teacher and a varsity baseball coach for a hgih school in
Indianapolis. In between periods and on my prep, I often browse
this forum trying to pick up useful information. There are many in
people in this forum who have greatly aided me in my photography.

Leave home for 3 days and you never get caught up in here!

I taught school 3 years and retired way back when. My husband is a pilot for major airline so I am the glue that holds the fort together. Now that my children have left and provided me with grandchildren I am enjoying life to the fullest. I travel, do machine embroidery, play tennis and enjoy my grandchildren as much as possible. Decided I might have time for one more hobby so bought the drebel. Little did I know that not only did I have to learn how to use the camera but master post processing, Pbase, forums, etc. etc. Isn't life great?!

I'm in the online internet business. Started as a web developer after I created few websites that I'm currently managing. If everything goes well, I'm planning to retire in 3 years at the age of 33. After I just want to be overlooking my business but want to let other people in charge so I can spent more time with my family, traveling and of course taking pictures.
