Good to be connecting again with the STF challenge. I'm moved by the obvious effort that has gone into so many entries. Seeing so many cool folks produce such great stuff is marvellous. Thanks to those among you who left comments on my work and apologies to everyone for the dearth of comments from me. I will be adding some more later.

4 points Counting the Rings by Ann C. One of the most photographically sophisticated shots I've seen in STF.

2 points Adobe Home by Bobby Tan Nice balance....all the critical ingredients for an eyecatcher for me.

2 points The Prisoner by Thierry Fricotteaux wonderful subtle mix of colour. I didn't want to know what the subject was...the imagery was enough.

2 points Beauty of the Wings In Detail by Bill Borne sort of like the wings themselves...makes you catch your breath when you open it

1 point Blue Dragonfly by Bobby Tan. Vivid color and unconventional composition had me fascinated.

1 point Ugly detail by Arn Tones of white juxtaposed by the fly....awesome!

I like the story behind this picture, the perspective and the colours of the surf. Looks like you and your camera were about to be drenched. You definitely captured the moment in great detail.
