Young fox with it's catch on the side of a dirt road. The prey it caught looks like a Shrew.

Another one appeared through a field and then they ran off together to the woods again.

Always enjoy your photos Marco. The first one with the shrew is a remarkable capture. Right up there with Rodin's Le Penseur. What is the fox thinking???

Yes, the first one was absolutely fearless. Seemed like this summer's pup. The location is a partial nature reserve and there are some people around jogging and walking on the forest paths. Might have gotten used to humans enough to not consider us too much of a threat.

They both looked to be in fantastic shape. Perfect thick fur and very lively and playful.
