** Weekly Fuji X-Series Photo-Sharing Thread Oct. 18-24, 2025**

I was in the Eastern Sierra a couple of weeks ago, the fall colors were peaking. I unfortunately didn't have time to plan and do much photos of these beautiful colors, but I did take some.

The light wasn't terrific as it was a dusk, but I really like the pallet of colours from the rocks, the lake and the glowing aspens. I shall return next year for sunrise and capture the true magic of that place.

Well captured, as usual!!!

Very special set.

Alan, you images in recent weeks beg to be printed large. Have you?

Ulrik, have you received any requests for private portrait sessions.... for $$$? At this point I would think your imagery has been recognized as high quality. Have you thought of making photography an adjunct to your other income producing talents?

I really like the PP in the first 5... very appealing!

I like the first.

Yes a very chilly morning but you were able to do beautiful captures!

I like the manicure shot.... something you don't post very often.

Excellent photos and as I mentioned to another poster, time for some large prints for the wall.

A little bit of an Indiana Jones look in the reflection. Snow on parched land is always an interesting look.

Don't know if it is your PP but the waxwing is a very smooth-looking bird... if that is an apt description.

Where is this? Obviously Ulrik knows.

Stunning North Yorkshire again, I really do feel blessed to have this as part of my commute.

Amazingly these shots were taken about 2/3 miles away from each other, and around 10 minutes between them.

Well worth the daily trip back and forth to work...... makes work worthwhile. I used to drive through an old part of downtown and then into the country to my work..... and often stop to take a photo.

I'm sure this bird has been imaged and displayed on the past but I don't recall. I suppose I will need to add the Bittern to the list I plan to see at some point.

Another image this week that deserves a print. Maybe a surf shop would like to display it?
