Indeed! They really give such a natural, windowlight-ish character. Only better.

Wish I could afford them. The 133 is something I've wanted to try and own for a long time.

Standing right in from of the Para 222 without blocking the light. Yeah.. The price is a thing. Used ones do show up once in a while.

I really like the Para 133 too. Puts out a gorgeous light. Those are the two I have. Will be outdoors with them this weekend. That is if it’s not windy out.

Do you work for Broncolor?
LOL Nope.. Why does no one ask if you work for godox…!

I just use Broncolor’s excellent studio gear. My clients are ecstatic with the results as am I. This is a studio and technique forum, so we are free to discuss the tools of the trade.

Here’s another shot using the Para 222. Its size allows room for the model to move around and still get excellent exposures

It looks like you are only using the 222 right? And no diffusers, slightly off axis behind you? Very natural light. I have the Elinchrom Litemotiv 190 and it throws amazing light as well but this is better of course :-)

Yes, just the Para 222. No diffusers. And Just slightly behind me to the left. I think slightly off axis gives a bit more dimension to most shots than directly behind the photographer.

Your Litemotiv 190 is a dream to use. Never discount that giant. It performs wonderfully, Definitely one of the best I’ve seen.

Broncolor has 3 different ‘strengths’ of diffusers for Paras. Very light, medium and heavy (the heavy works like a softbox). I don’t have any diffusers but do have a Grid for the Para 133.

No shade intended. I'm relatively new here and was confused because you only post about this one light modifier. Over and over again. It's difficult not to view these kinds of posts as advertising. That's why I asked if you worked for them. Cheers!

Rent one if you can. “This one light modifier” is capable of many different looks. It’s like owning 30 different modifiers. This shot is also from a Para 222.

It’s common for the folks to post using the equipment they have. Very few will buy tons of gear for variety and post it all. Kind of a waste of money & time. Some of us work for a living and take time to post here. If that bothers you - find something else to do.

That is a rude response, sir. As already stated, I was simply asking because I'm new here. I want to follow various posters, liked your content, and just wanted to clarify your motivation, as I don't want to follow people who are paid shills.

A lot of people here—working pros—post their photos without citing the same branded modifier every single time. It kind of jumped out at me. I don't think my question was unreasonable or unusual, considering the circumstances. I certainly didn't deserve the type of rudeness you exuded above.

I hope you have a nice day.

here’s good videos comparing & discussing them. & no I don’t work for YouTube
