This is a bit of a long shot seeing as I’ve googled it a fair bit with no luck, but here goes…

I’m looking for a half case for the X100V (not VI) in the UK, but they seem in short supply now.

I have the Smallrig for the X100VI and it ticks my three must-have boxes (no additional grip hump; no popper on the battery flap; nice fine-textured matte feel) and I thought it would fit the V but, alas, Fujifilm moved the tripod mount, so it’s a no-go.

Pretty much the only thing I can find is the Megagear, which only ticks one or two of those boxes.

Anyone know of any thing that might suit?

It’s not the lowest cost, but I’m very happy with the Kaza for those times I prefer using a case.

I’ve always enjoyed the Gariz half cases. I see several for sale on eBay for the V

Thanks.

Unfortunately the suggestions so far both fail my “no additional grip bump” criterion.

Apologies. I misread your original post and believed you wanted the bump.

I’m a bit awkward 🙂

It’s basically just for a bit of bump protection and a little more friction—unlike most people it seems, I like having a slim grip.

For my X100VI (and XT5) I use a genuine black leather half case from eBay seller herodream888 (I think they are Hong Kong based) at:

They do a 'V' version too. It is secured by a tripod compatible screw in the base. It has a sturdy flap over the battery door to give access. When I ordered it, I asked for an additional screw in case I lost mine and they kindly included one at no extra cost. It fits well, improves ergonomics and protection and, in my opinion, looks good. Here are two pictures, albeit not taken with the case in mind, but they do show it.

Hope that helps.
