Great series. Results show the effort paid off.

Great use of the geometric lines. Agree with the puzzle pieces idea.

Very satisfying series to view. The geometry in the second one makes it my favorite.

The wood ducks were enjoying a quiet day at Kissena Park as the North Easter approached and many people chose to stay home. For me it was an opportunity to shoot with fewer disruptions.

These are excellent. For fun I zoomed in using the gallery loope feature on every image and the level of sharpness, to my eye, is astonishing. This image shows that combined the photographer's skill, the sensor, the lens and the AF working together can obtain a very sharp image. For the avoidance of doubt, I am not saying improvement cannot be obtained (and I could tell a supporting story about that), but the combination delivers pretty good images to my eye.

Some fall scenes with a bit of winter vibe. Photomator quick edits. Will probably spend more time on them later. C&C welcome.

Not quite snowy landscape, but loved the split personality of the trees. Mono Lake in the background.

Thank you,

This setup is a delight to use.

These are great. It's a treat when we get to see snow and fall color together. It can be dangerous as the weight of the snow is much higher when there are leaves to catch it and can result in limbs breaking.

This pair of mute swans decided to fly in my direction while I was walking around Kissena Lake here in New York City.

That's an interesting perspective you get at 12mm. I've taken a few shots from a similar (same?) location at a much more telephoto focal length and it results in a very different feel.

I notice in your recent posts you mention Photomator but not Nitro - have you switched?

Ted-

That is from Conway Summit vista point/pull out on Hwy 395. I’ve only had the 16mm perspective before and am learning the ultra-wide with the 12.

I have been using Photomator more lately. I prefer its layout and really like how its shadow adjustment works. I also am using Luminar Neo a fair bit.

A bigger issue is ease of use with Photomator. It renders HEIC files much faster than Apple Photos. There is a delay in Apple Photos, and I still don’t understand why (And haven’t looked into it in a while).

This reddit forum thread describes the issue fairly well-
