They are wonderful Morris. #5 is also my pick here. Really nicely composed - beautiful :)
Thank you Ulrik,

did you notice I stopped down a tiny bit as that looked best for 5

Yes and I am going to steal that thought, because I mostly tend to just set it at F2. A little consideration might improve things.

Thanks. We could use some of that moisture here -- been a very dry summer and fall -- no real monsoon this year.

As I took the photos I dialed in the size of the specular highlights and OOF flowers by adjusting the shutter. It was a lot of fun to have this creative ability.

The swan is my favorite.

Wow - very impressive sunset Bob. 30mm in medium format sensor - what would be the equivalent aps-c focal length? It is quite wide.
24mm FF and thus 16mm APS-C. The 8 on the X-T50 was just too wide.

Very well done. I think OnOne is going to offer a software function that will display the same effect. Will be curious to try it.

Don't stop there! Can't tell it's autumn here except for shorter sunlit days.

I'm still going through my Maui vacation photos. This young man called his board a "skimmer." He and his brother would run along the beach, toss the board down and jump onto it, skimming for a fair distance and then diving into the water. Very cool!

We used to do something like that when I was a kid. Take a large round piece of wood (nicely sanded and thin around the edge) and do the same. Hesitate to mention how many years ago that was. 😁

Excellent eye.

Nice use of geometric lines.

Well done.

Great start.

Thanks, Bob. I have a feeling that physically panning the camera and trying (repeatedly) to create this sense of movement is more fun. But I can see how having software capabilities to do this can be useful and helpful for certain types of work.

We are just starting to see some color here in New York City and I moved into positions to use it's reflections for these photos taken at Kissena Park.

Now that you mention it, I do recall seeing people skimming on round disks in a video many years ago.

Cheers
