Standing there with your X-H2 and 70-300? Oh, taking my photo. BTW I am A male greater kudu. Been very busy so the image is from the archive.

Great capture. Reminds me of a still life image.
Thanks.... it stopped and stared... so in essence it was a still image.

Nice shot Bob….at least your subject doesn’t hide behind the tree….

Peek-a-boo 😂

Cheers, Bob.
Thanks. Good thing mama didn't perceive you a threat. Those horns look a bit intimidating.

yes an intriguing image. Morris has a good question.... though the moon looks a little OOF.

Good use of monochrome AND the band using only acoustic instruments.

Very impressive. The horns too are impressive.

I cannot remember if I saw one many years ago on a safari in Kenya, so I read up on them in Wikipedia upon seeing your image. Here is a fun pub quiz question: what is the longest horn length if they were straightened? 1.8 metres - that quite a length.

So, did you capture this image on safari?l

Enjoyed your images,

"A least weasel... unbelievable small, very curious" and just a little cute too!

Very interesting locale. Last year when visiting Ireland we toured Ballinalacken castle, claimed to be built around the 15th century but has roots back to the 10th. Looking up this castle it was built in the 1300's. Fascinating structures that I don't mind walking but may not want to spend much of my everyday life. Later castles are a different story. 😉

Very nice. I enjoyed that park when we visited. As I've studied geology, in was very interesting from that standpoint and I knew when I was seeing uranium deposits. There are parts of the part where you should not stay long. The park service has marked them and tells people to camp only in designated locations for there safety.

I wish I did. The locale is the The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens in Palm Desert, CA. What's nice about the Zoo is the amount of free space for many of the animals to roam.

Thanks for the info on the horns. Looks like it could defend itself pretty well.

Fine image.... and I'm pleased I own the same combo. Light and quite capable.

Lovely image Truman

That's why I don't fish. There is nothing more annoying than having a darn fish tug on my cord when I am enjoying solitude.

Nice pic and welcome to the forum. Looking forward to seeing more in the future.

Nice to see your excellent imagery outside your usual NY locales. As I have mentioned, the badlands are now on my future radar.

Looks as if it gets a lot of use..... as a canvas!

Nice captures of a culture we don't usually see. On another topic are you using your RF much?
