Thanks Jacob. It is said the most important camera is the one you have with you. The deer are fine.
Thanks.... it stopped and stared... so in essence it was a still image.Great capture. Reminds me of a still life image.
Thanks. Good thing mama didn't perceive you a threat. Those horns look a bit intimidating.
Thanks, MorrisI like your composition Bob

Very impressive. The horns too are impressive.Standing there with your X-H2 and 70-300? Oh, taking my photo. BTW I am A male greater kudu. Been very busy so the image is from the archive.

I wish I did. The locale is the The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens in Palm Desert, CA. What's nice about the Zoo is the amount of free space for many of the animals to roam.Very impressive. I cannot remember if I saw one many years ago on a safari in Kenya, so I read up on them in Wikipedia upon seeing your image. Here is a fun pub quiz question: what is the longest horn length if they were straightened? 1.8 metres - that quite a length.
So, did you capture this image on safari?l
Fine image.... and I'm pleased I own the same combo. Light and quite capable.
