Solar eclipse.

I think it's marvelous! Would love to have been able to photograph this myself, but the clouds just didn't cooperate today. You did great!

This was taken with my Nikon 990, and a couple of mylar sheets. I
didnt have adapters I needed for scope images. Mavicanman picked up
some sunspots. My field and magnification was too low. Best I could
do with what I had.

Where were you when you shot this, what state or country. WE glanced at the sun, but all you could see was a very bright sun. Thanks for sharing what you got. I also think it's great.

I live in KY. Near Louisville. It was about probably 1:30 to 2:00. I used a mylar filter which cuts the white light level way down, dimmer than the moon apears. I tried to see if I could see it by just looking, and couldnt. Thanks for the comments.

Here in Farmington Hills, Mi, the weather was perfect and cold (low teens). Using a 600mm mirror lens, 32mm eyepiece, Thousand Oaks Solar Filter, and Olympus C3030 digicam, here is the "first bite":
