Hi,
Makes sense. Usually a Mk-I hits the end-of-life right after a Mk-II begins production. Oh, there can be a short overlap as Mk-I component inventory is depleted, and then there is the sell-through period of completed Mk-I units.
If this just occurred, that took longer than I would have thought.

Sounds right. Anyone remember Nikons D200 fire sale after they released the D300?
It's been discontinued with no new stock available for over a year, they just didn't update the website.
