Collective Project 52 for 2025 (2)

I know... the horizon is right about in the middle. I need come compositional help! It was a nice day, so I grabbed the camera and took a shot.

LOL. That's the way I like to use a camera too. :-D

Student produced and faculty directed small theater play space. Next performance, November, "Three Sisters" by Anton Chekhov.

Nice pic and an understated/calm feel to it. It would be fun to see a performance there. Seems like it is an intimate venue? I will look up some info. I have not been to a "play" for a long time. But I do remember that it was very engaging and inspiring when I went... years ago. The artists are truly talented. Also, I am very familiar with the name...

Thanks! As you know, the 20/1.8 is really good in regard to "stars" and handling flare. A great walkaround lens. Also... a "backyard shot" -- we can sit outside, have a glass of wine, and take-in the view when you come for a visit! :-)

Next summer, head north with the FJR and I can meet you in Oregon somewhere. Then we can continue northward... and eventually sit in the backyard and take-in this view with a cold beverage. Maybe Bratpix can join us. Then head back south on the bikes...

Thanks for the proposal. Very tempting!

A great proposal. If you can convince BratPix to come out to the West Coast all the way from Paris, I could hardly refuse the "short" ride up to the Seattle area.

That's beautiful. The background and lighting are perfect. The "temperature" is Just right. Soft and easy. How did you set it up initially? Some tweaking in post? I have WB set @ Auto 0.0 and tend not to worry about it too much since quite often I adjust the WB "just a tad" after-the-fact. Of course, sometimes my finger might be on the wrong button when turning the command dials (i.e., WB instead of ISO) and then things are "off" for a whole series of shots. Operator error! LOL. Nice to have the flexibility in RAW. :-)
